In our train station you will find physical, occupational, and speech therapists who are ready to work with you and your child. Each therapist is experienced in pediatric therapy, and together have been certified in a variety of specialty areas. Read our bios below to learn even more about us!

 

Alison Miller, OTR/L
 

 

Alison has been an occupational therapist for twelve years, and has experience in adult in-patient/outpatient rehab, skilled nursing facilities, travel therapy, home health, and outpatient pediatric therapy.  She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia, is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, and is also certified in Therapeutic Listening, and Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT).   Alison has been to courses specializing Food Chaining, Sensory Integration, and Asperger’s Syndrome.  When she is not at the train station, Alison loves spending time with family/friends on the lake, being outside, traveling, yoga, and playing and laughing with her husband, Andy, daughters Campbell and Molly, and her dog Daisy.  Alison is all aboard for the color blue and Italian Food!

Amanda Barker, MS,PT

                                                                                                                                                                                                    Amanda has been working as a physical therapist for fifteen years in outpatient, home health and school based pediatric therapy.  She graduated with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas. Amanda is an American Physical Therapy Association Certified Clinical Instructor. She has attended courses specializing in Advanced Cascade DAFO Bracing, Kinesiotaping, Spasticity Management, Sensory Integration, Neuro-Developmental Treatment, and Early Intervention for Infants with Special Needs.  Her new professional goal is to learn Spanish!  When she is not at the train station, she loves spending time outdoors with her husband Neil, and kids Kennedy, Joshua, and Brook.  Amanda is all aboard for the color black and guacamole with extra salty chips!

Ashley Miller, OTR/L
 

 

Ashley has worked as an occupational therapist for nine years, with experience in outpatient adult and pediatric therapy, home health, and the public schools.  Ashley graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy, and is certified in Interactive Metronome and Therapeutic Listening.  She has also been to courses specializing in Food Chaining, Brain Gym, and Sensory Integration.  Ashley and her husband Nate live in Fayetteville.  When Ashley is not at the train station, she loves to travel!  Ashley is all aboard for the color blue and pizza!

Chere' Skinner, OTR/L
 

 

Chere' is an occupational therapist who has worked in outpatient pediatric therapy for eight years.  She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2004 with a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy.  She is certified in Therapeutic Listening and Interactive Metronome, and has been to several courses specializing in Sensory Processing/Sensory Integration, and autism spectrum disorders.  Chere' and her husband Brandon live in Fayetteville with their cat, Oz.  When Chere' is not at the train station, she likes working in the yard, traveling, playing guitar, and spending time with friends and family.  She is all aboard for the color green and sushi!

Jacklyn Fratesi, MS,CCC-SLP
 

Jacklyn has worked as a speech-language pathologist for seven years, with experience in adult and geriatric rehab, travel therapy, and outpatient pediatrics.  Jacklyn graduated with a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Central Arkansas.  She is certified in Interactive Metronome and has been to continuing education specializing in Assessment of Swallowing in Pediatrics.  When she is not at the train station, Jacklyn likes spending time with her wonderful family and friends (and cat and dog), reading, listening to music, traveling, and taking walks with her adorable daughter Sophie!  Jacklyn is all aboard for the color green and Italian food!

Jean Ann Henry, Office Mgr.

 

Jean Ann is our wonderful office manager who taught physical education and health for 26 years in Tulsa and Rogers schools.  She has been married for thirty years to Clay, and has two daughters, Becca and Sarah.  Jean Ann loves Razorback sporting events, flea markets, reading, exercising, spending time with friends, family, and her two chocolate labs, Rosie and Rocky.  She is all aboard for the color razorback red and Doe’s Steakhouse!

Laura Porch, DPT

Laura has worked as a physical therapist for six years.  She graduated from UCA in 2006 with a doctorate in physical therapy.  She has been certified in Cascade casting, and formerly worked for a year at Helping Hands Children's Therapy in Little Rock.  Laura is married to Clay, and they are the proud parents of twins Brady and Caroline! She enjoys spending time with her family, attending Razorback games and rooting for the Hogs, reading, traveling, watching movies, exercising, and shopping.  She also loves her two dogs, Scout (yellow lab) and Buddy (boxer).  Laura is all aboard for the color purple and Mexican food!

Leah Murphy, MS,CCC-SLP
 

 

Leah has worked as a speech-language pathologist for sieven years, in the areas of adult and geriatric rehab and outpatient pediatric therapy.  Leah graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.  She is certified in Interactive Metronome, and has been to continuing education courses on Assessment of Swallowing in Pediatrics and Sensory Integration.  When she is not at the train station, Leah enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her husband, RJ, her son, Jack, and their chocolate lab, Molly.  Leah is all aboard for the color blue and pizza!

Leigh Thompson, MS, CCC-SLP Leigh has worked as a speech-language pathologist for seven years, with experience in center-based pediatric habilitation services and outpatient pediatric therapy services.  Leigh graduated with a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.  She has attended continuing education specializing in Assistive Technology, Feeding and Swallowing, Samonas therapeutic listening, and behavior management related to Sensory Integration Disorder.  When she is not at the train station, Leigh enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and two children, Bryce and Kayla.  She also enjoys reading, traveling, visiting local parks and trails, going to WAC shows, and anything outside with her family!  Leigh is all aboard for the color blue and pizza along with a delicious green salad and breadsticks!

Sarah Suel, OTR/L

Sarah has been an occupational therapist for nine years in various settings, such as mental health, home health, and rehab.  She graduated in 2003 with a Master’s Degree from UCA in Conway.  Sarah has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and has been to loads of courses over the years in the mental health field mostly. She loves being an OT, and really has a passion for what it’s all about.  When she is not at the train station, Sarah loves spending time outside or exploring new things with her kids Pippi and Felix.  She loves to travel, and even lived overseas for 3 ½ years in order to see the world!    Sarah is all aboard with any bright colors and milk and cookies!

Stacey Phillips, MS,PT

 

Stacey has worked as a physical therapist for thirteen years, including public schools as well as outpatient pediatric therapy.  She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas and is an American Physical Therapy Association Certified Clinical Instructor.  Stacey specializes in Advanced Cascade DFO Bracing, Kinesiotaping, , wheelchair assessment, Sensory Integration, Torticollis, Brachial Plexus Injury, and Neuro-Developmental Treatment.  She is married to Justin and they have two daughters, Kayley and Adalynn (and two miniature schnauzers, Ghillie and Frasier).  When she is not at the train station, she likes reading with her daughter, sewing, scrapbooking, and watching the Razorbacks.  Stacey is all aboard for the color red and fettucine alfredo!
